The employee performs the following functions:

  • Coordinates the transfer processes of data from state registers, institutional registers, and state information systems (hereinafter – ISRs) that are significant to the national documentary heritage.

  • Carries out procedures for receiving ISR data transferred to the Archive.

  • Submits proposals to the Director of the Archive regarding updates to the list of ISRs whose data are considered significant for the national documentary heritage and the ISR owners or their authorized processors.

  • Provides technical guidance to state and municipal institutions, agencies, and enterprises on the implementation of requirements related to the transfer of ISR data and born-digital documents to state archives.

  • Cooperates with and provides methodological support to state and municipal institutions, agencies, and enterprises transferring ISR data to the Archive.

  • Where necessary, designs and implements data models and algorithms for ISR data being acquired for preservation.

  • Develops and maintains data processing components and pipelines for data collection, processing, and analysis.

  • Reviews requests and other documents related to ISR data provision and prepares decisions and responses accordingly.

  • Performs risk management of preserved ISR data.

  • Where necessary, analyzes existing technical solutions and development needs related to ISR data, digital collections, and/or portals.

  • Submits proposals for the improvement of functionalities of the Electronic Archive Information System.

  • Executes other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Director related to the employee’s area of responsibility.

Special Requirements:

  • Must hold a university degree in the field of technological sciences (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent as recognized by a competent authority).

  • Must have at least 2 years of work experience in the field of data engineering.

  • Must have a good understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases.

  • Must have programming skills in at least two programming languages.

  • Must be familiar with the requirements for drafting and formatting official documents.

  • Must be able to manage, organize, and summarize information, and prepare conclusions.

  • Must have knowledge of English at a minimum of B2 (upper-intermediate) level.
