The employee performs the following functions:
Manages documents transferred for permanent preservation that originate from political parties, public organizations, other non-governmental organizations, and private individuals.
Accepts documents from state institutions, agencies, and enterprises for permanent preservation and arranges archival holdings efficiently within the archive storage.
Checks the quantity and condition of accepted documents and prepares verification reports.
Submits proposals for exhibitions and prepares both physical and virtual exhibitions of documents.
Contributes to the development of educational events, exhibitions, articles, and projects.
Photographs and films Archive events, exhibitions, and meetings, and provides the material to the employee responsible for public communication.
Carries out preparatory work for document digitization and digitizes documents from the National Document Fund.
Carries out other one-time assignments from the division head in order to implement the measures outlined in the Archive's annual plans.
Special Requirements:
A university degree in the field of humanities or social sciences, along with professional knowledge in the field of document management.
Familiarity with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating public administration, civil service, labor relations, and the protection and provision of information.
Knowledge of the Law on Documents and Archives of the Republic of Lithuania and related legislation governing document management.
Ability to analyze and summarize information and draw conclusions.
Proficiency in the Lithuanian language, both written and spoken, and ability to use Microsoft Office software.
