The employee performs the following functions:

  • Prepares educational lessons, events, exhibitions, articles, and projects.

  • Manages the archive’s website and social media accounts.

  • Manages documents transferred for permanent preservation that originate from political parties, public organizations, other non-governmental organizations, and private individuals.

  • Accepts documents from state institutions, agencies, and enterprises for permanent preservation and arranges archival holdings efficiently within the archive storage.

  • Substitutes for the reading room staff and assists archive visitors.

  • Carries out other one-time assignments from the division head in order to implement the measures defined in the Archive’s annual plans.

Special Requirements:

  • A university degree in the field of humanities or social sciences, along with professional knowledge in the field of document management.

  • Familiarity with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating public administration, civil service, labor relations, and the protection and provision of information.

  • Knowledge of the Law on Documents and Archives of the Republic of Lithuania and other related legal acts governing document management.

  • Ability to analyze and summarize information and draw conclusions.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Lithuanian; proficiency in using Microsoft Office software.

  • Proficiency in English at no lower than B2 level.
