The employee performs the following functions:
Organizes document digitization work and assigns digitization tasks to personnel performing the digitization.
Coordinates and performs preparatory work for document digitization, digitizes documents from the National Document Fund, and uploads digital objects to the Electronic Archive Information System (EAIS).
Reviews and approves descriptions of designated archive documents submitted via EAIS tools, ensuring their accuracy and consistency with archival accounting records.
Processes information related to public procurement or, when necessary, coordinates such information processing.
Plans public procurements or, when necessary, coordinates procurement planning; prepares documents related to procurement planning or coordinates their preparation.
Prepares documentation for specific procurements or coordinates their preparation if needed.
Manages documents from political parties, public organizations, other non-governmental organizations, and individuals that have been transferred for permanent preservation.
Accepts documents from state institutions, agencies, and enterprises for permanent preservation and arranges archival holdings efficiently within the archive storage.
Conducts quantity and condition checks of accepted documents and prepares verification reports.
Provides consultations in the assigned area of responsibility.
Prepares and submits proposals on issues related to the institution’s operations.
Carries out one-time assignments from the head of the division aimed at implementing measures outlined in the archive’s annual plans.
Participates in commissions and working groups established by the head of the institution; represents the institution in relations with other organizations, agencies, and individuals as delegated.
In the absence of the division head, performs their functions upon authorization from the head of the institution.
Special Requirements:
University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent qualification).
At least 1 year of work experience in document digitization, management, and accounting.
Familiarity with the laws and other legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating public administration, civil service, labor relations, and public procurement.
Knowledge of the Law on Documents and Archives of the Republic of Lithuania and other relevant legislation governing document management.
Ability to analyze and summarize information, draw conclusions.
Proficient oral and written communication skills in Lithuanian; ability to use Microsoft Office software.
Foreign language requirement: English, at B2 (upper-intermediate) level.
Valid Category B (passenger car) driver’s license.
