The civil servant performs the following functions:
Represents the institution in relations with other institutions, organizations, and individuals upon authorization from the head of the institution.
Provides consultations on matters related to the activities of the structural division.
Makes decisions related to the activities of the structural division.
Prepares and submits proposals on issues relevant to the structural division.
Oversees or, if necessary, carries out the processing of information relevant to the division’s activities.
Manages or, if necessary, directly performs the activities of the structural division.
Oversees or prepares and provides information related to the activities of the structural division.
Oversees or prepares documents related to the structural division’s activities.
Manages the human resources of the structural division in accordance with legal regulations.
Performs or, if necessary, coordinates oversight and control activities.
Resolves issues related to document appraisal and retention periods for documents transferred to the New Archive of the Lithuanian State by state and municipal institutions, agencies, and enterprises.
Evaluates accounting records submitted by assigned state and municipal institutions, agencies, and enterprises and submits them to the head of the institution for approval.
Coordinates the transfer of documents from state and municipal institutions, agencies, and enterprises to the New Archive of the Lithuanian State.
Submits proposals for supplementing the National Document Fund with documents of lasting value from non-governmental organizations, private legal entities, or individuals.
Acts as the institution’s director during their absence upon receiving appropriate authorization.
Performs other ad hoc tasks related to the institution’s activities as assigned.
Special Requirements:
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
A university degree (at least a Bachelor's qualification) or an equivalent higher education qualification in one of the following fields:
– Heritage Studies, or
– Communication, or
– History, or
– Public Administration;
Or:
A university degree (at least a Bachelor's qualification) or an equivalent higher education qualification;
At least 5 years of work experience in the field of document management.
Foreign Language Requirements:
Language: English, German, French, or Russian;
Proficiency level: B1.
