At the Lithuanian State Modern Archives, individuals are served and their requests, applications, and complaints are handled in accordance with the procedure established by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania Resolution No. 875 of 22 August 2007.
There are reference rooms in each Archives. The researchers observing the regulations have the possibility directly to become acquainted with the documents.

A person could get acquainted himself with the documents in the archives’ reading rooms or submitting a written request. We recommend registering in advance before visiting the reading room.
